Pastelart_byFPPPears Some very ripe and juicy pears on my pear tree last late summer. The light fell so beautifully on them! It’s the same pear tree as on my profile picture. It stands proudly in the middle of my backyard with every year more very tasty pears. Rachel WrightI was rather pleased with this one - a corner of a rather lovely cafe in Belem, Lisbon, in soft pastel. The tangle of chair legs and the gloss on the copper pot offered very different challenges. So did the assorted textures of the vegetation. I lost another piece, too: a pastel drawing of a raven. Both were commissioned pieces.
