RockyC<p>It’s been a good ride, <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/UltramarineLinux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>UltramarineLinux</span></a>, but <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Fedora" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Fedora</span></a> has dropped support for the old broadcom-wl driver that Hardcase needs, so now I get “tainted kernel” errors.</p><p>I’ll be moving Hardcase all the way back to one of the very first distros that I used in the beginning of my Linux journey: Linux Mint. <span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://mastodon.social/@linuxmint" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>linuxmint</span></a></span></p><p>I recently installed <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/LinuxMint" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>LinuxMint</span></a> on an old MacBook for a friend and was pleasantly reminded of just how easy and friendly and COMPATIBLE it is. 😉</p><p><a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/ShareYourDesktop" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ShareYourDesktop</span></a> <a href="https://fosstodon.org/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Linux</span></a></p>
