I am not surprised the shooter was son of a cop and used one of the cop parent's guns. Queue up how wonderful a kid he was, his civic good deeds, etc. because it #SoundsAboutWhite. Oh btw, other cops only wounded him.

The shooter was identified as 20-year-old Phoenix Ikner, an FSU student and the son of a Leon County sheriff's deputy. He used a weapon belonging to his mother, a school resource deputy.
The authorities said the gunman used a handgun that was the former service weapon of his mother, a #LeonCounty sheriff’s deputy, who was allowed to keep the #gun for personal use. It’s not unusual for deputies to be allowed to purchase their former service weapons, officials said.
Sheriff Walter McNeil of #LeonCounty identified the gunman as #PhoenixIkner, 20, & said he is the son of a Leon County sheriff’s deputy.
“Unfortunately, he had access to one of her weapons,” the sheriff said.
Chief Revell said the gunman “invoked his right not to speak to us.”
“He did not comply with commands & was shot,” Chief Revell said.
Officials held a news conference following the #SchoolShooting at #FloridaStateUniversity.

There is no reason to believe ghe suspect did not act alone which is why officials have said the threat was “neutralized.”
The police identified the gunman as a 20-year-old man & the son of a Leon County sheriff’s deputy.
A colleague who teaches at #FSU just checked in to let us know she's safe but still sheltering in place. At leat 15 injured.
So glad our shithole govt is putting all their resources into containing the imaginary threat of an invasion by Latin American gang members instead of dealing with the proliferation of gun nuts.
