BroadforkThe gardening contractors on a local housing development let me have these stakes for free. The trees they were supporting had died from lack of watering/care.There are about another twenty dead trees, all staked, on the same stretch of the development. It’s annoying when property developers don’t look after the trees they plant. FarhadFound another "thing" while walking Mellie. Someone had left this cheap mixer on the side of the recycling for glass and paper. The stairs are repurposed from my sisters house. The stones were our walkway for over 30 years, and came from my dad's farm when he was clearing stone walls to enlarge his fields. The crushed stone was leftover from my son's friends project for HIS father. Good, solid work and our backs are aching tonight...I only need a few bags of pea stones to fill in, and I have dozens of smaller stones to set, if I want. (I can lift THOSE myself!) No more stepping though mud/water halfway along the walkway.
