Nearly the entire southeast third of Virginia is, once again, under flash flood warnings; multiple reports of streets under water in downtown #RVA as well as in Chesterfield. Storm coverage is much less the further north you go

All the storm action this evening is up around D.C. and west towards the upper Shenandoah and then south to around Lynchburg; nothing going in/around #RVA and should stay quiet across south and southeast #Virginia.

Flash flood warnings extend from #RVA to Chester, to Petersburg and southeast to Waverly and Wakefield; also flash flood warnings for Tappahannock and Montross, as well as the northeast portion of the D.C. area

Went birding in our local park this morning. We got 26 species, including a pair of Cooper's Hawks and a Great Blue Heron passing by overhead. The only decent photo I got is of this mockingbird.
