need help form fellow #linux gamers again

i am trying to play death stranding through heroic games launcher (got it on epic for free) with my ds5 controller, which i wanna use its unique features with. i am on kde plasma with wayland and i know that for games on steam i have to use "PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1" for adaptive triggers and stuff to work but on hgl it does not seem to do anything and the game just does not recognize my controller.

for my distro i am on arch btw

Still seeking a good replacement for Proton bc they're not rly going in directions I like. Prob is that they are kind of flagship standard, so it'll be about what features we're okay without.

We know about Tuta and that's off the table and I'm not rly interested in "but why" discussions, it is enough to say they've been ruled out for legit reasons.

What we are looking for:

- End to end encryption @ rest (this should be standard for all providers IMO)
- Multiple domains
- Easy backups of entire mailbox (bridge or whatever)
- Not hosted in Five Eyes nation states (ideally)
- Ideally, disdain for AI.

Amazing, how much of the tricks is still in my muscle memory. I played that game and its successor *a lot* in the late 1990s on the Playstation1.

Since #VivaldiBrowser has a partnership with #Proton I am considering switching from #GoogleOne to that ecosystem, because then I could use the VPN, too, then.

The issue? After I finish an album that I'm working on, I want to leave #Windows for #Linux, but #ProtonDrive doesn't have a Linux client.

Let that sink in; a privacy service that doesn't work on LInux. WHAT?!

I didn't realise (until I got the payment notification) that today marks my second year of using @protonprivacy. It was definitely one of my best decisions to start using Proton and all their services. #Proton
