Experimenting with another new-to-me ink in today's #inkyDays drawing. I normally don't like green inks. But this one is yummy, and plays well with paper and diluted inks.

Some pensive little fish swimming across my sketchbook, for today's #inkyDays drawing.
I loved how yesterday's #inkyDays drawing turned out, and how the inks played together, so I started a bigger piece on watercolor paper.
Going with this comforting floral pattern for today's #inkyDays drawing. I'm loving this ink! It looks like a dark brown when wet, but dries to a richly dark plum purple when it dries. And it plays so well with diluted inks and paper.
Here's an in-progress shot, with the ink bottle.
Working on some small lizard drawings, getting ready for when I'll be exhibiting at the Maker Faire, in Vallejo, next month. https://bayarea.makerfaire.com/
The ants aren't pleased with the various horrible stuff going on, in today's #inkyDays drawing. I also made progress on some lizard patterns on watercolor paper. Needed the meditation time.
Playing with inclusions in today's #inkyDays drawing. Here's an in-progress shot.
Playing with a new ink in today's #inkyDays drawing of networked lizards. I'm loving how this ink works with watercolor papers, so I drew some bigger pieces with it.

Playing with a new ink today. It's gorgeous 'mauve', and it's playing nicely with my diluted pink ink. The funny thing, is that inks don't always play the same way on different papers. The exact same inks, but on another paper it just sinks into the paper and doesn't mix at all.
I loved the results in my sketchbook, so I started a larger piece on watercolor paper. Completely different results.
Finished this piece on watercolor paper today. Once it's dry, I'll cut it free of the block, a satisfying process.
Woohoo! I'm going back to the Maker Faire! In celebration, I decided to reflect on what got be started: The Cell! So I'm imagining some cell membranes and proteins in today's #inkyDays drawing.
Here's an in-progress shot.
As usual, I've posted more for my supporters:

I've been playing with lizard motifs, on watercolor paper, for a little while now. They're fun to draw and are distracting me from all the bad things going on out there. They want us miserable, and I refuse to be that. So I'm drawing, a lot.
