William Hamilton<p>Couple of observations on this <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/Elxn45" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Elxn45</span></a> story:</p><p>* <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/PiPiLeQ" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>PiPiLeQ</span></a> ran a couple of new ads last night during “Jeopardy!”, borrowing heavily from the <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/DoFo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DoFo</span></a> playbook — an attack ad on Mark Carney after the first round, and a pro-<a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/Conservative" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Conservative</span></a> ad before the final round. Both ads ended with Sonny-and-Cher stills.</p><p>* My work these days entails dealing with people who claim to get their news from frakkin’ Instagram, so the focus is still on an algorithmic alternate reality.</p><p><a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/CanPoli" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>CanPoli</span></a> </p><p><a href="https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/pierre-poilievre-media-access-1.7506045" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">cbc.ca/news/politics/pierre-po</span><span class="invisible">ilievre-media-access-1.7506045</span></a></p>
