I got the thick, blown glass vase for free, from the side of a road, a few years ago. It was & still is in perfect condition. I'm a frugal/freebies hunter

These two photos were taken with an even older phone - #SamsungGalaxy8 - which had been discontinued. The camera on it still works just fine.
I'm always the last of all my family & friends to upgrade any phone. I will use my old phones until they die or until they are lost & never found. I've never felt any need to get a new phone if my old one still works - it goes against my views of consumerism/capitalism. I've never had any FOMO feelings about phones or other digital stuff. I barely use any digital gadgets. I don't feel my life is incomplete without a bunch of those digital things that I don't truly need.
Marvelous #SweetWilliam blooms. They really bring some wonderful colour pops in your garden. Very easy to grow around the PNW areas.
Almost all photos I've shared here were taken with an old Samsung Galaxy 10 phone. I want to show folks that you don't need an expensive new phone to take fab photos.
Work on your composition more & worry about gear, less. I have 3 DSLRs (One Nikon & 2 Canon) & rarely use them these days. Too lunky to lug around gear so I only use my DSLRs when absolutely necessary.
Have loads of fun with photography - don't lose your playfulness when creating images!
My lace cap #hydrangeas are much slower to bloom than all my other hydrangea plants.

#FlamingoFlower is good at absorbing airborne chemicals released by common cleaning products & general pollutants. It's particularly good at absorbing harmful chemicals like ammonia & formaldehyde from the air.
Be careful if you have cats who love houseplants because it's toxic to felines. Asher has no interest in any houseplants so we are quite lucky because most cats like to sniff/chew on houseplants. He avoids the houseplants & only likes his little cat grass pot. Don't keep these in your home if your cat is obsessed with plants.
