So yeah, #Windows is literally the problem!

And this isn't even the biggest difference...
I've seen machines where #Windows10 on a SATA-6G - saturating #SSD got creamed by a 7200rpm SATA-II 7200rpm #HDD with everything else being the same.
I really doubt that anyone would want to experience #DOOMTheDarkAges this way. Don’t fall for any Steam Deck "optimization guides” (which will inevitably start popping up after launch) — save yourself some headaches and play it on a PC, console, or through GeForce Now.
Pirating Windows is like breaking into prison.

My new PC (coming from a Skylake) is still ridiculous to me. Top makes me giggle.
@GamingNews We are the #pcmr !
Welp, when I stress test the new #CPU, temperature spikes to 70°C, clock spikes to 5.something GHz , and it stays there, nice and stable. No throttling or runaway temperature. When I stop the stress test, the temperature immediately plunges.
I must have installed the cooler correctly. Yay!
A mundane accomplishment for some people who #BuildAPC regularly, but I last did this 8 years ago, so I'm happy to have succeeded on the first try.
So, I thought I'd buy a pre-built #PC, because then it will Just Work™ and I won't have to fuss with parts failing and whatnot.
Well, from what I can see, if I want an #AMD CPU and GPU (which I do), I'll have to buy it from either HP or a smaller outfit like iBUYPOWER, all of which have a reputation of…parts failing.
Welp, if I'm going to take my chances with failing parts either way, then I may as well buy and assemble the parts myself. At least I'll get exactly the parts I want.

Wiecie co, to jest niesamowite, ale w PC właśnie to lubię najbardziej:
Znalazłem jakieś staaaaare katalogi u mnie na dysku. Jak stare pytacie. No więc EXE jest z 2001. Dla jaj zrobiłem dwuklik i co i działa.
Obok był Quake Army Knife - Edytor do map Quake. Dwuklik i działa i cyk, mapa, którą robiłem 18 lat temu działa i mogę wrócić do zabawy...
Tylko jakbym jeszcze pamiętał jak to się tu robiło....
I've always kind of half wanted to build a gaming PC for the living room but I feel like I'd have to overshoot the specs of even my desktop gaming PC by a significant margin to play at 4k on my TV. Whereas I just have to hit 1440p on my gaming PC.
Though I do have to say, using my laptop with a 3060 and DLSS has been fine. Can't see all the weird DLSS artifacts from the couch hah.
