Oktober 2024 findet die jährliche internationale <a href="https://www.openaccessweek.org" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Open Access Week</a> statt, in der weltweit über den freien Zugang zu wissenschaftlichen Informationen informiert wird. Die TIB beteiligt sich mit mehreren Veranstaltungen sowohl vor Ort als auch online daran. Die interaktive Veranstaltung bietet den Teilnehmenden die Möglichkeit, spielerisch in die Welt der forschungsunterstützenden Dienste einzutauchen und gleichzeitig wertvolle Einblicke in das Thema Open Science zu gewinnen.Die Aufgaben der sieben verschiedenen Stationen stellen den Teilnehmenden ausgewählte TIB-Dienste vor, helfen dabei Wissen über Open Science zu erweitern und erste praktische Erfahrungen bezüglich der Benutzung der Dienste zu sammeln. Das Lösen der Aufgaben kann alleine oder im Team bewerkstelligt werden. Natürlich sind auch alle willkommen, die sich für Gamification interessieren oder ein bisschen mehr über Open Access erfahren möchten.„The Publishing Trap“ ist ein Brett- und Onlinespiel, welches von Chris Morrison und Jane Secker mit dem Ziel entwickelt wurde, Kompetenz zum Copyright zu vermitteln und Publizierende über mögliche Auswirkungen ihrer Publikationsentscheidungen zu sensibilisieren. Das Spiel richtet sich insbesondere an Forschende, Lehrende und Studierende, die in Gruppendiskussionen verschiedene Entscheidungen zum akademischen Publikationsprozess treffen müssen, um möglichst viel Wissen und Impact zu sammeln. Dabei geht es um Themen wie Urheberrecht, Open Access, Verlagsverträge und die langfristigen Auswirkungen der Veröffentlichungsstrategien auf die wissenschaftliche Karriere.Donnerstag, 24.
