This Northern Soul classic is a wonderful record, a driving rhythm section enlivened with some great horns, with Barbara Acklin's strident vocal & a great sax solo, what more could you want from a 60's soul classic? Its such a great couple of minutes of brilliant soul!

Another "songs that were hits when covered but misses for the original artist" for today's #JukeboxFridayNight prompt. This #HitAndMiss Northern Soul classic was a minor hit for Gloria Jones in 1964, a much bigger hit for Soft Cell some years later.
