This #TuneTuesday, the theme is #MotherEarth, so naturally I'm choosing the most hardcore metal song I know. 
True story: I almost got kicked out of my dorm for 'playing devil music' and the accusers said my songs demanded that I should 'kill my mother' 
I had to do an impromptu slam poetry reading of the lyrics for this song to prove that 'see your mother put to death' was about Mother Earth and I avoided punishment. 
A nighty night ear worm from those guys.

It’s been a long motherfuckin’ day, just got home after covering yet another town board meeting and have a little time out here on deck before I do some writin’ before beddy bye: first heard this one I’ve shared before when I was 14 or 15 and for a time there in high school, played it at least once every night before bed. Here I am at 60 and it never gets old for me, this “rough mix” Jimmy Page put out there a few years ago.

Just saw a pre-concert video of Judas Priest lead singer Rob Halford using a cane and hobbling his way through a tunnel on his way to the stage. He’s 73 and looks 100. Or like a bald Gandalf in Harry Potter. Yeah, I don’t feel old. Until I hear somethin’ like this here on deck on a gorgeous Friday evening.
