Kathleen Burnard :BP_cuff:<p>Monkey likes to play Snakes, a game that involves me or Kyle hiding Khaki Snake (a lace from old cargo pants) &amp; Zip Tie Snake (leftover from building a kit to take down wt supremacist propaganda around town) under his playmat (a stolen christofacist banner), &amp; he hunts them. We’ll play for up to an hour at a time before he gets tired or bored. I’ve been channeling all of the stress and fear into baking, so I guess y’all can expect some pictures of one of the most delicious cakes I’ve ever made soon. Later I’m going to take a bath (finally allowed to take baths again!), do a mask, and try to take care of my nails a bit. Just treat myself very gently. In between emailing All The Doctors, I mean. I almost passed out making pastry cream tonight, and had to sit on the floor before my body put me there without my consent. Monkey came over right away with lots of purrs and headbutts. He didn’t stop moving back and forth in front of me, always checking in on my face, for 20 minutes, until he was positive that I was okay. Even then he didn’t leave my side, just relaxed a little.
