@ntnsndr You only need to look at the response to the EU- #Mercosur agreement. It's usually about non-tariff barriers: social dumping, carbon emissions, food safety and other environmental protections, copyright landlordism and other colonialist structures. You'd need to take decades of "free trade" agreements and carefully scrap almost everything that has been done, switch to doing the opposite.

The EU and the Trans-Pacific Patnership countries should create a "Planetary Commerce Authority" without USA and China that can substitute the WTO (after the USA killed it) and guarantee international commerce from the unfair trade practices of China and the schizophrenic tariff policies of the USA.

Then it could be expanded to other regional economic organizations like MERCOSUR, SADC, ECOWAS...
