Working on an Emotional Support Chicken using little balls of fingering weight scrap yarn held together. This time I finally got the eyes on equal, the trick is to affix them prior to sewing up the beak or head. Now for the diamond shaped chest piece, then sew the rest up and stuff!

#knitting pals, does anyone have a good resource on bust/waist/general garment shaping for larger bodies? I really would like to try some but everything I find is clearly meant for straight sizes and flat stomachs, and I'd like to not end up making a sausage casing or a maternity shirt.

It turns out that the bottom edge of my Luminos Tee hits at an awkward spot, and curves in a bit due to tightness in the edge. So, I’m picking up stitches and working a ribbed border to make it longer and address the curving issue

I wouldn’t call most of the knitting modifications I’ve made significant. They tend to be changes in colors or needle-size more than anything. Recently, I’ve attempted creating some of my own designs, which is mildly entertaining but hasn’t resulted in anything I want to make again, let alone try to sell (although my current #YarnBomb experiment might be the first)

My spiritual life has gone through many iterations, as most people’s do. Today, I’d say the most significant modifications would be cultivating a discipline of using female pronouns to refer to the Holy Spirit & swapping out 3 traditional lines in the Lord’s Prayer (“forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us & lead us not into temptation”) for more contemporary language (“forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Save us from the time of trial”)

Please #knitting dedicate help me out. I did a decrease row and now I need to start bust shaping. But how should I read this line: “work bust shaping 6 rows after last decrease row”. Is that: FOR 6 rows after last decrease row row? Or START bust shaping 6 rows after last decr row???

A new batch of Chaffinch on Bluefaced Leicester. It’s a little pinker to better differentiate it from the Bullfinch. I am still considering which new birds to dye for @thewoolmontyshow. When I asked for suggestions, many folk listed ones I have already done and even currently have in stock, which seems odd. I think social media does that. I finished my tee! Pattern is Cumulus tee by Petite Knit, I used Sandnes Tynn line for my yarn. Now I just wonder what is the best method for blocking since it's a cotton-viscose-linen mix, any advice?
