In Honour of Bob (2022)

I took this image on a solo trip here a few years ago, I revisit each opportunity I have.

Athabasca Glacier

This is an image of the Athabasca Glacier and Athabasca Mountain.
The snow-capped Athabasca Mountain on the left sits high above the Athabasca Valley and is slowing the advancement of thick clouds that threaten the valley.
The Athabasca Glacier works its way down from the Columbia Icefield that covers the tops of the Rocky Mountains in the area.

It’s likely that they hurried to bring the whole building down once the fire reduced and why all the debris look re-arranged. But it was not a preemptive destruction.
