Fieldsphew alright, time for an <a href="https://wetdry.world/tags/introduction" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#introduction</a> - y'all can call me Fields! i'm a semi-recent cs graduate in my mid-twenties who's a lil technology dweeb - especially for anything FOSS or exceedingly novel.i'm in-between jobs at the moment, but have worked as an SDET at a large tech consulting firm and have a number of personal projects from my time in uni and elsewhere on my github! i'm happiest working when i'm able to build alongside others on projects that i think are fun or important. while i'm definitely a junior developer, i hope to start making contributions to open-source projects to gain confidence and experience in software development! (open to suggestions - especially for anything web related!) i have a wide variety of interests in tech, and have dabbled in a bit of everything from competitive robotics to CAD and amateur game development.besides work, i love watching movies/shows, reading books, playing games, building things, and going into nature with my partner and dog. i'm currently obsessed with the Three Body Problem series and Helldivers 2, and probably will be for a while!to be entirely honest, i'm still in the middle of figuring myself and my goals out. i still haven't entirely come to grips with the freedom of time that comes with being out of school, and my social life has taken a bit of a nosedive since my uni roommates have moved away. :blobfoxmeltsob:i want to start to write more about my projects and things i like, and i plan to be spewing those thoughts and feelings into the fediverse here! i always accept constructive criticism, so feel free to do so or just to yap at me! :blobfoxhappy:finally - any thoughts or opinions expressed here are my own! thank you for reading!
