After playing last evening and today’s morning with dates in Swift, I managed to create the first version you could see in the first post. 
I must admit that this might be a real challenge to get it done properly, but I believe it’s worth the struggle!

Either I do something wrong, or local background tasks are completely unreliable. I don’t understand why, in 2025, developers can’t reliably schedule local background tasks on iOS.

When I started this project, I wanted to have a different business model, something other than simply creating an app and selling it on the App Store.
When people ask, I usually tell them I’m running an eCommerce biz.
I’m really happy with how things are progressing. More record stores are joining the platform, and people are starting to love the product.
