From the article: "Ikea said this month that it is rolling out a collection of accessible items for the home. The line known as Bäsingen includes a shower chair, two different step stools and a handful of bathroom accessories.
“There are many people who experience impactful and common circumstantial changes that can make something as simple as taking a shower challenging,” said Wâtte Zijlstra, a product design developer at Ikea. “The starting point for Bäsingen was a clear need for specific product functions. Then, we widened our scope through design to ensure the products are for the many, as Bäsingen is created to support anyone in their daily life.”

Ikea is coming to the city of Dallas 
Slated to open in late 2025, Ikea will add a site at The Shops at Park Lane, covering two floors.
The Swedish store will cover 63,000 square feet in the small-format offering, with 3,200 items available for same-day pickup including food.
