yeah see look at this: `zpool scrub` of a 4TB+ #zfs pool attached to my #macOS workstation via Thunderbolt is done in 33m20s!
*cascade* is the flash pool, *succor* is a mirrored mechanical pool that is mostly used for `zfs rec` deltas for backups of the speedy one, local Arq and restic(1) backups get dumped there too.
everything in #IOW #householdIT is backed up at least once locally and two off-site targets. i rotate around aws s3/b2 at backblaze, and wasabi's s3 service. b2 and wasabi ftw.
