Are there any registered #IU students or faculty here in #Indianapolis that would be willing to do an interlibrary loan (ILL) for me?
There is an audio recording I want to get from another university and I think it may be possible through Worldcat and IU.(Although they may no longer do this for audio recordings).
I'd pay for any ILL fees.
I could meet you at the IU library downtown to help jockey the worldcat and ILL system.
Time flies when you’re documenting a city failing to protect its most vulnerable road users.
The first incident tracked in real-time via @IndyPedCrisis occurred on May 7th, 2022.
This scrappy little project has grown a lot since then and we thank all of you for being on this journey with us.
A 77-year-old driver in Elwood, Indiana struck and killed a 16-year-old runner. He drove off, but was followed for over 10 miles by a witness until he arrived home.
He was not arrested.
Steal a car, cops will chase you and (brutally) arrest you.
Hit and kill a teenager, drive off leaving them on the side of the road — and you get to sleep in your own bed that very same night.
Completely fucked society.

#HoosierSocial idea: a summer carry-in picnic for all of #HoosierMast. We'll eat some Indiana food. I'll do some free Indiana entertainment if you want.
We'd just need to find a location and set up a date.

On April 10th at 5pm a bicyclist was fatally struck by a motorcyclist at East Troy Avenue & Tindall Street on the city's southeast side.
We're trying to locate identification for the victim of this incident. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. DMs open. TY!
I believe the OP, and I'm saddened about it. However, it is not my experience with being part of a small geographical instance, #HoosierSocial - an Indiana instance for Indiana folks.
Is our instance is extraordinary? We have a strong policy in place to reduce the bad stuff. Because we are regional, we also do things together that other social media doesn't, like fun events and meetups. It's special, and worth supporting.
Perhaps the future is fun local geographic servers?
FOX59: "Fiancé of Indianapolis hit-and-run victim speaks out against driver’s ‘slap on the wrist’ sentence”
Bernard said Hadrick’s sentence sends a dangerous message.
“Don’t pull a gun out, just drive a car, and you’ll go do some house arrest,” Bernard said. “You want to go kill somebody, you just drive your car and you’re going to get a slap on the wrist.”
