What's the question?

Trump's freeze on all fed assistance programs (except #SocialSecurity, #Medicare*) means suspension of #Medicaid, #SNAP, #TANF, #AffordableHousing (eg, #HCV, #LIHTC, #SeniorHousing), #SBA loans, #BidenInfrastructure subsidies, for starters & will adversely impact #military families as well as the rest of America.

* Dear #Media:
Seems I need to remind y'all, Social Security & Medicare are NOT federal assistance programs.

R to @ECDC_EU: Effective #HBV vaccination programmes and a range of other prevention & control strategies including harm reduction measures targeting people who inject drugs contributed to decreased incidence of new HBV & #HCV infections across Europe.

R to @ECDC_EU: There are 3.6M people chronically infected with #HBV & 1.8M with #HCV in EU/EEA.

The prevalence of both infections varies across countries & populations, with the highest burden among vulnerable groups such as people who inject drugs, people in prison & some migrant populations.

Together with Lars Kaderali and Darius Schweinoch we even established a mathematical model capable of simulating signal propagation from incoming dsRNA via secreted IFN to the induction of ISG. Lastly, we also investigated the impact of #virus encoded antagonists (#HCV NS3/4A, #CSFV Npro, #DENV NS5, #SARSCoV2 ORF6) onto the dynamics of IFN induction.

Happy to have visited #Seattle to discuss Seattle joining Fast-Track Cities. No City has completely eradicated #HIV as a threat, but more and more as cities reach higher numbers of status knowledge, linkage to care, and viral suppression, the conversation moves towards identifying who faces the most barriers to care, and who faces the highest barriers to obtaining and maintain an undetectable viral load, and how do we incorporate #HCV and other treatable and/or curable conditions into screening?
