Syulang<p><span class="h-card"><a href="https://fairdinkum.one/@John" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">@<span>John</span></a></span> Beyond sensible. Splurging that kind of money for a two week event no one bothers with is pointless. This was absolutely the right call imho. Housing and rail need the money. Also, protecting the VIC portion of the <a href="https://aus.social/tags/GreatSouthernReef" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>GreatSouthernReef</span></a>? That could be done for a fraction of the cost of a sporting shindig, and will be a lasting benefit for all that future generations will thank us for.</p>
