Showing me a dozen villages with names that barely had anything to do with my search query, until I finally enclosed the name in quotes.

(And even then, it had the goddamn gall to give me the good old “did you mean…?”)

When I make a search for a place located in Madagascar, and no exact result comes up:

#OpenStreetMap: “We’re sorry, we did not find a place named that. Here’s a list of places with similar names though, just in case.”

#GoogleMaps: “Here’s one random different place with a name that might not even be remotely similar. If it’s not what you wanted, then fuck you.”

I've recently started being very interested in #OpenStreetMap :osm: and have tried various #OSM apps.

The #GoogleMaps feature that I miss in OSM is clicking on a place and seeing a list of reviews and photos of the place.

Is there a project built on top of OSM that adds the functionally of adding reviews, and/or easily uploading photos of a place? And an app that shows these reviews and/or photos?
