Julia Mapped to Mandelbrot
I used the GIMP Fractal Explorer to generate a Julia set, then mapped it to a Mandelbrot set with Fractal Trace. I also played with the colors to make it pretty.
Composition
Made by stacking multiple levels of composition of the rectangular-to-polar coordinate mapping on top of each other, using a spectrum gradient as a base image.
