Amazing mid-#60s #garage #rocknroll from the Pacific Northwest’s Wailers. This album is so fucking good, and so infectious.
I first heard them in my early teens on some local oldies/classic rock station, driving to Rocky Point amusement park.
LOVE the look of that Etiquette Records label too (the band’s own label)!

Super fun one for this week's #MusicWomenWednesday. The 5.6.7.8s just put out this cool 'Best hits of' compilation. Gotta love these gals. Kinda 60s, kinda surfy, garagey, unhinged/cute vocals. You may recognize the song 'Woo Hoo' from Kill Bill, which is included here. Also, they have a song about Mothra. You can't go wrong with that.

It’s a rare weekend when the weather is marginal and I’m sick enough I can’t go out. So I started a project I’ve been meaning to do for a long time: “refinishing” the workbench.

I built this nearly 18 years ago and the top was getting really chipped and dinged from various woodworking projects and disgusting from various bike and camping fluids. So, new top and some new internal structure and compartments as well.

Next up, reorganizing the tools on a larger peg board.
