sgt1372<p><span class="h-card" translate="no"><a href="https://med-mastodon.com/@bicmay" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@<span>bicmay</span></a></span> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/AAPI" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>AAPI</span></a> <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/DavidHwang" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DavidHwang</span></a> </p><p>I saw an earlier broadcast of <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/Yellowface" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Yellowface</span></a> on <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/PBS" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>PBS</span></a> &amp;, like others of Hwang's plays, I didn't like it. 🤷‍♂️</p><p>But <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/FrancisJue" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>FrancisJue</span></a> won a @TonyAward last night for his performance in the play on <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/Broadway" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Broadway</span></a> (beating out <a href="https://sfba.social/tags/DanielDayKim" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DanielDayKim</span></a> who was nominated in another category) but I don't know what role Jue played because I turned off the show before he made an appearance.</p><p>So, I'll record the show again on 6/30 to take an actual look at Jue's performance.</p>
