Watching the F1 British GP for the first time in literally years.

We used to be fans, catching every race, but now it's just not practical these days. We're not big sporting fans so having to buy a Sky Sports subscription for sports we'll never watch, to then add an even more expressive subscription on top just to watch the F1 it's just ridiculous.

Yes, we know there are options of month by month NowTV options and "alternative" streaming options but it's just too much hassle. They priced us out of the sport.

So, while today's race is live on Channel 4 and we can get it live with the Channel 4 app (we don't have a TV aerial) we're making the best of it. Sounds like it's been a really entertaining season so far, just a shame we're unlikely to see any more of the races.

The racing scenes in Brad Pitt's new "F1" movie are impressively authentic, but the filmmakers have also made much of how the sport's past is woven into the plot — with a hefty slice of Hollywood artistic license. japantimes.co.jp/sports/2025/0 #moresports #formulaone #bradpitt #lewishamilton
