Finally got around to tagging and releasing my side project of last year to flathub. It's pretty basic at the moment. But hopefully it's already useful to someone.

Okay, I admit my ineptitude. Can someone explain to me what I should do to update the version of my app on flathub as if I were a 5-year-old child? I'm looking at my flathub fork, I know it has to be done with a PR from somewhere to somewhere. The app's manifest (which has already been properly updated) has been on the my-app-submision branch of my fork since the app was added to flathub. Should I do a my-app-submision PR for flathub master? For flathub new-pr? Some other place to some other place? The documentation talks about master and beta and nothing else.
I could be wrong, but it "seems" like compatibility issues stem from how Fedora manages OS permissions. Some apps even need to be RPMs to run correctly, such as the NextCloud Desktop, which wont keep syncing in the background if installed as a flatpak. Using Flatseal doesn't seem to solve it either in this scenario. I'm sure there are workarounds I'm unaware of.
But this is why we folks also like Linux Mint, because offical flatpaks "just work".
User reviews truly are an irreplaceable aspect of an app marketplace.

Hello guys, I released Serigy, an app to pin information from the clipboard.
The idea came about to solve the problem of copying multiple items at once and pasting them in different places. I was hesitant to use a clipboard manager because it felt invasive. After months of development and use, I decided to publish it.

LACT is now on #FlatHub !
We've been methodically working with app authors to get more of the apps we ship in our images moved over to flatpaks.
Here's a win for everyone!
I'm giving up maintainership of the #Subsurface dive log package on #Flathub. There is a too wide gap between how it is developed and what Flathub/Flatpak expects, and I still can't use the Flathub version with my own dive computer because there are Bluetooth issues I have no idea how to debug.
I cannot justify investing more time on an application I use at most three times a year. Especially when the official #AppImage just works.
After some hiatus, @Jami is back on #Flathub, an easy way to have it on any Linux distro. If you miss the #p2p days of Skype, Jami is here - https://jami.net/jami-vs-skype-welcome-to-where-your-privacy-matters/ #GNU, #FOSS, #Decentralization, #DistributedSystems
I'm currently working towards improving the #flathub store frontpage to get recommended there.

I just hope that I can get it first try, since there is no quality check on the beta repo.

Evolution 3.56 is now available in the stable channel on #Flathub, too. What is new? A lots of smaller improvements and fixes. Especially those using Microsoft 365 may appreciate this release because there is improved support for Graph API.
Enjoy!
Evolution 3.56 is being released today. We've already shipped it in the beta channel on #Flathub and the update for the stable channel is in the process.
@Jonas Just install something easy and rock-solid stable, like #Mint. Automatic background updates. No prompts, no nothing. Slap #Chrome on it and teach them how to launch it. It is literally that simple. Most people don't care as long as they can access their mail and maybe a news or government site. A lot of people do not even play #games. While at it, offer #WhatsApp from #Flathub and you are golden. I'm telling this from experience. After initial stress reaction they will be fine forever.
