Personne<p>Is anyone out there familiar with the whole BQ Cervantes e-reader ecosystem? The company went under a few years ago, but I have a device and would like to make some modifications to the screen resolution and frame buffer. <br>I know it's possible, since there was a "hacker" version of their OS, based on Debian 7 "wheezy". But my problem is the firmware(?). </p><p>I was hoping to find a former engineer who had worked at the company or something...I'm sure they're out there and the device still works - why not breath new life into it?</p><p><a href="https://ciberlandia.pt/tags/bq" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>bq</span></a> <a href="https://ciberlandia.pt/tags/cervantes" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>cervantes</span></a> <a href="https://ciberlandia.pt/tags/ereader" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ereader</span></a> <a href="https://ciberlandia.pt/tags/debian" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>debian</span></a> <a href="https://ciberlandia.pt/tags/firmware" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>firmware</span></a> <a href="https://ciberlandia.pt/tags/hacking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>hacking</span></a> <a href="https://ciberlandia.pt/tags/electronicwaste" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>electronicwaste</span></a> <a href="https://ciberlandia.pt/tags/electronicwasterecycling" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>electronicwasterecycling</span></a></p>
