This skein goes from pink to grey to brown to a deep forest green. It's fun watching the colors unfurl!

I skirted Orca's #fleece and I think this would be a really fun one to spin because of all the different shades. It is also shocking how SOFT it is! It's like petting an angora rabbit or a chinchilla or something.

I'm learning a few more things. I'm considering a second spindle so I can keep spinning whilst I wait to ply this current one (still quite a way off that).
Turns out Rumble’s grooming is Thursday which gives me only today and tomorrow to get a little more of his fur at this length off of him. Between yesterday and today I currently have 8 gms of this floof. #HandSpinning #FiberArts #DogsofMastodon

Today I officially started collecting Rumble Fuzz for spinning. Should have done it a couple of weeks back when I first posted about it. At least I will have enough to spin a bit. I’ll brush him daily until his haircut next week (I’m not going to keep whatever the groomer does, only what I get from brushing him). This pic is terrible lol. #spinning #Handspinning #fiberarts
Tour de Fleece started yesterday, July 5th. (Also the Tour de France.)
I have SO many spinning wips. I joined two teams, one for spinning fleeces and one for spindle spinning.
I should have joined the Queer spinning team, but they're doing a more formal style and I can't do strict rules right now. (I also don't want prizes or to place in the top 3 or whatever. Idk why.)
I'm working on clearing off bead spindles to spin a sock yarn. 
Damit ist ein halbes Jahr rum. Bisher hatte ich schon eine Menge Spaß. Wie das Jahr vergeht ist mit diesem Projekt auch irgendwie präsenter als nur der Kalender.
Der Juli macht auf jeden Fall Anstalten sehr heiß zu werden.

First band weaving attempt done.
I have done a lot of learning with it. As I suspected, I'm finding this process more difficult than my frame loom. It is very satisfying when I get it right and I am excited to try another one with less thick wool. That'll have to wait for next week. Fatigue is strong this weekend.
Think it’s time for me to disengage for a bit and work on the embroidered snake anatomy picture I am working on. Focus on making art. #embroidery #wip #fiberarts
