Did you know that you can find fossil dinosaur eggs in Alberta? In 1987 Wendy Sloboda, then a teenager, was scrambling around Devil's Coulee near Warner, Alberta when she came across the shells of what would later turn our to be eggs from a species of hadrosaur. There's now a wonderful museum, the Devil's Coulee Dinosaur Museum, which displays finds from the area and provides tours.

Yesterday, I did a bad taste joke about Jesus and St Valentine in a bar, talking about how their horrible deaths have been turned into marketing opportunities for Chocolate sales.
In the same bar: Joan of Ark is complaining about her Stake being burnt, St. Alban is arguing with St. Benedict about the true nature of piety, and St Catherine is punching someone who made a joke about Wheel-clamps.

Meet the Knitting Pilgrim! Kirk Dunn, artist and actor, knit these incredible stained glass tapestries representing the Abrahamic religions of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Kirk says, "Knitting for me is the artistic manifestation of [empathy and understanding]: symbolically, it weaves together yarn to produce an interlocked pattern, just as I hope people can be knitted together, through empathy, into a community."
