After having elected a fascist pledging to be a “Dictator on Day One”, we can longer believe in American exceptionalism.
I am not afraid or stoking fear. I just think there is no going back to what used to be “normal” after this. Something new will have to rise from from the ashes.

Trump has figured out that someone's word is worth more than their actions and in his case he says one thing (which people agree with) and does the exact opposite pretty well all the time.
When will voters stop listening to the people that lie all the time. It's not like we haven't seen this before.

It was before Trump was elected the first time when all five then living presidents stood together, Republican and Democrat, to say that Trump was manifestly unfit for the job. In fact the whole Bush clan came out publicly against Trumpism, except for George P Bush, who kissed the ring. Then Trump called him "the Bush that got it right," he tried to run for some office on the basis of that, and Trump endorsed his primary opponent. Now he has no future.

Former Wisconsin Supreme Court justice surrenders law license as part of agreement. He helped spear head trump's Stop the Steal attempt in 2020. He's accused of contempt of court, destroying public records, conflict of interest and other misconduct.
He still faces criminal charges for contempt of court.
