Tomorrow we are running a workshop on Team Topologies in Virtual Domain-driven design and Domain-Driven Design Australia

We had to close registration a week+ ago because we have over 100 people registered combined.

This high number of signups talk about the problems we have in industry and the solutions we think might serve us.

Thanks a million to Luke McManus , Andy Spamer for running the workshop. Sonal Premi and Chris Simon for co-hosting. There might be more people we are yet to thank ...

It already has been an amazing learning experience, I can not wait to see how tomorrow goes.

If you are attending tomorrow you should know we are trying hard to make sure it's a great experience and that we have not run with such high numbers before, here goes to an exciting experiment! 🧪 🥼

But here's the deal: Trying to introduce #DomainDrivenDesign? It's like convincing your friend who lives on takeout and Netflix to embrace whole foods, green smoothies, and – hold your breath – regular exercise. Forget the quick fixes. DDD is about the long game. It's the daily grind, the real, often unglamorous work of building a truly robust system.

You DESIGN it, you BUILD it, you RUN it!

We're pleased to announce our next in-person event in London on Tuesday 8th April 6PM. Join @diana and Cat Morris for 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗶𝘅: 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀

A lot of folks skip Part VI of the blue book, the part on strategy, but I wonder how many get through Part III. Most of us build that first collaborative model with stakeholders and call it done. When new features come along, instead of rethinking the model, we shoehorn things in. And then people wonder, “We did all that #DomainDrivenDesign and #EventStorming with the business, so why doesn’t our model stay adaptable and flexible?”
