Paul SwiatkowskiThis is Rockwell falls on a foggy morning in Lake Luzerne NY. This isn't the easiest waterfall to get a photo of. It's on a bridge that gets a lot of traffic and it shakes as every car goes by so I opted to go early in the morning so there wasn't a whole lot of traffic. I would say waking up early and having a little patience paid off here. Paul SwiatkowskiThis is Cavern Cascade in Watkins Glen State Park. Standing at 52 feet tall, this is the tallest waterfall in the Glen. This is a fun part of the trail as you get to walk directly behind this waterfall. The parkway is 469 miles and connects Virginia's Shenandoah national Park to Tennessee's/North Carolinas great Smoky mountains national Park. Paul SwiatkowskiThis is Wells falls in Ithaca NY. It sits next to an abandoned building which in the 1800's was originally a for mill, then turned to a pumping station which provided drinking water and water for stations. It was then converted to a hydro electric plant, then finally abandoned in the 1940's.
