Did you know my friends started CryptPad, and I was one of the first paying customers way back in 2017?
I couldn't be more proud of their amazing work, and to witness their iconic journey.
It was my friend @ansuz who built a lot of CryptPad, that suggested I apply to NLnet.
And then Pixelfed became the first fediverse project funded by NLnet in 2019.
You love to see it.
I do use firefox.. both on desktop and mobile.. Ublock and privacy badger.
I also use Organic Maps.
I have a commercial VPN.. I use it from time to time. I also use TOR both in and out of a tails instance depending on the job at hand.
I also have a PFSense firewall with DoT to cloudflare and namecheap public DNS

Also looking at moving to #CryptPad for some document stuff but I mostly use LibreOffce and local files. Can I sync CryptPad? Can I open in LibreOffice?

WTF, die haben bis jetzt Google Forms verwendet?! 
Spotted the recent stories about #cryptpad and tried to login again. Since 2019, I've been unable to login to the service and it's been a running gag since then. I'm sure the service works, the UN moved to it, so obviously I'm the outlier here. So I sent an email to their support line, asking for help. We'll see if I'll ever be able to login or if this is going to turn into a white whale. I'm not really that driven to hunt it down, it's never worked for me, so c'est la vie.

@AngelaScholder @ueeu @VolumetricShitCompressor True - but forgetting a password is not an issue if you can reset it. It becomes an issue when you can't. I'll stick with systems that allow me to reset passwords for now For me, that rules out #cryptpad and other similar services.
@alex_p_roe @ueeu @VolumetricShitCompressor I'm pretty sure that so far we never needed the encryption key with #cryptpad as though all other encryption keys are in our KeePass database, I didn't store any for #cryptpad .
I'll have a look at that.
@AngelaScholder @ueeu @VolumetricShitCompressor Password and encryption keys are different - with some services, you can reset the password and not need a key. Don’t know if #cryptpad is like that and I’m not sure I want to find out!
