Papa Maccus PrimusJust tried the <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/COSMIC" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#COSMIC</a> desktop environment. I find it far superior to <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/Gnome" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Gnome</a> and quite a bit behind <a href="https://mastodon.online/tags/KDE" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#KDE</a>. The tiling isn't as useful (for me) on a laptop as I thought it would be. The settings section could be vastly expanded, although it's still early days so I'm not holding that against it. But there's currently one deal breaker for me and that's the audio widget. I need one with the features of the KDE widget. I've been using it as my daily driver for a few weeks and it's pretty feature complete. No crashes. I can change the wallpaper and toggle dark mode. I can install flatpaks and software from the repos. QT apps load and play well with the UI. I can tile windows and move them around intuitively. I already like it better than the default <a href="https://hostux.social/tags/Ubuntu" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Ubuntu</a> experience. So I'll try again sometime and take better notes.

Daft if that bug is also affecting Atomic users.
