Listening to Talking Feds (A Man of Many Convictions): chrt.fm/track/2G8F4A/rss.art19

One last week of trial brings a final Talking Feds episode with a roundtable of great reporters who were among the few in the courtroom, Jon Alter, Maggie Haberman, and Hugo Lowell. We break down the dramatic differences b/t the trial as reported in the media and as it actually was, zeroing in on the chief reasons for the DA’s decisive victory and focusing in turn on the lawyers, the judge, and the jury. We then take up Trump’s crazed response and consider what it portends for the next 5 months. See Privacy Policy at art19.com/privacy and California Privacy Notice at art19.com/privacy#do-not-sell-.

Listening to Refuse Fascism (The Convicted Felon & “Day One” Dictator): podcasters.spotify.com/pod/sho

Sam discusses the historic guilty verdict that was just rendered by a jury against Trump this past week (34 felonies for falsifying business records to cover up hush money payments to Stormy Daniels, all for the purposes of ensuring his illegitimate election in 2016), along with the slew of unhinged fascist threats and rants that have come in the aftermath of the verdict. Then, as this guilty verdict has in no way stopped his campaign for power again, she talks with two contributors to the June issue of The New Republic titled What American Fascism Would Look Like. Emmanuel Guerisoli discusses his essay The “Day One” Dictatorship (co-authored by Federico Finchelstein). Emmanuel is postdoctoral fellow at the Zolberg Institute on Migration and Mobility at the New School. He can be followed at @emmaGuerisoli. Then, Francisco Goldman discusses his essay From Texas to Massachusetts: On the border in a fascist America. Francisco is a novelist and journalist. His most recent novel is Monkey Boy, a Pulitzer Prize finalist. He can be followed on ex-Twitter at @PacoGoldman or on Instagram @franciscogoldman. @JamesHD @Deanna13 I just re-read the comment, and noticed (maybe) you meant that I could use more hashtags?

LOL yes. I used to use a TON of hashtags on Twitter. Here, very rarely, as we are so small as a group, and the platform is so small, I don't have good visilibilty on what might become a big trending hashtag term, is it say #ConvictTrump or #ConvictedFelon or #CommmonCriminal or #FelonTrump etc etc etc. And sometimes on a 'intro' style Tweet I try to imagine the universe of hashtags & add

So four days before the RNC Convention, Trump will be sentenced. Will this effect the GOP nomination process? No.

One fact main stream media is ignoring. In several state GOP parties, they have changed their rules guaranteeing that Trump will be nominated. Their delegates have no power to change their votes.

The GOP is officially run by an OUTLAW.
