wilfred<p>🗣️ REPAIRABILITY SHOULD BE A RIGHT</p><p>“The online repair site goes so far as to call the Pro 2 a “piss-poor excuse for a controller” for several different reasons. Opening the controller requires you to first forcefully remove a faceplate held in place by adhesive tape before a single screw is visible. But you’ll need to extract several other parts and components, including the controller’s mainboard, before its battery is even accessible.”</p><p><a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/righttorepair" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>righttorepair</span></a> <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/nintendo" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>nintendo</span></a> #2 <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/controller" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>controller</span></a> <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/tech" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>tech</span></a> <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/news" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>news</span></a> <a href="https://hcommons.social/tags/ifixit" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ifixit</span></a><br><a href="https://www.theverge.com/news/705383/ifixit-teardown-nintendo-switch-2-pro-controller-repairability" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">theverge.com/news/705383/ifixi</span><span class="invisible">t-teardown-nintendo-switch-2-pro-controller-repairability</span></a></p>

MissInformation<p>Ich will mir vielleicht einen neuen DJ Controller kaufen.

Went to go remove any #microsoft games from my #Steam wishlist, only to realize I don't have a single one on there. No #activison, no #bethesda, no #blizzard. Turns out I haven't really been microsoft's main target for a while. I don't use #Windows. Never used #Bing. Don't write programs with #DirectX, I use Vulkan and #OpenGL and #SDL. Don't use #OneDrive. Never used #Skype. Don't use an #Xbox #controller on my PC, I use an 8bitdo controller. Don't use #Azure. I am disconnected from them.

The stickers I designed for the Ottopot arrived today, they look and fit as I imagined, and I'm so happy!

To recap, this is a midi controller created by @gerotakke, with LED lights programmed by Pierrot, and my custom stickers as cherry on top to dim the lights. I feel kinda ridiculous posting about round stickers in today's world but how can I express the warm feeling of generosity and care this... controller transmits in a way?

@lps At this point I've hit a bit of a wall, since I neither own any Xbox controllers nor do I use Steam (I use a PS5 dualsense controller with GOG games via Heroic Launcher) and I'm also on a different OS than you (Debian). Perhaps you should make a new post to get some attention:

"Can anyone help? I'm trying to get my #nacon #xbox pro compact #controller working on #Linux - more specifically #ZorinOS. Not lighting up when plugged in, not working with #Steam games. I'm on #kernel version 6.8"
