No surprise PP would not do the honourable thing and resign as party leader. He even suggested a Conservative would resign his safe seat for PP to stand in. I guess he has no other career he can do. At least I will not have to hear his whiny negative voice as much.
Liberal Leader Mark Carney will form government but whether it will be in a minority or majority Parliament still remains unclear.
At the time of writing, the Liberals were elected or leading in 167 seats — just short of the 172 needed to form a majority.
Over a dozen seats were still too close to call when Elections Canada decided to pause counting after 3 a.m. ET. A majority is still possible if the final polls bend the Liberals' way.

The election result just means we scraped by to be able to fight innumerable future battles.
There's no such thing as winning in politics anymore, there's only continuing the forever war.
Look at the popular vote numbers. That many people saw what the CPC and its leader were saying and doing and thought "oh yeah, let's have that!" The danger is as high today as it was yesterday.
This is going to be exhausting.
For sane people who slept through the night:

Can't believe how invested I am in the #Canada elections.
Crikey.
...Edmonton-Greisbach... what the fuck?
Mark Carney job is to just keep being the loudest thorn in the USs side. I’m generally against jingoistic bullshit but he’s allowed to just free style speeches now.
the easily job in the world. “Tight 15 political speech”
