Just passed the #CISSP exam on my first attempt!

Big thanks to @SkillCertExams — their practice questions were incredibly accurate and well-explained. Studied for 6 weeks, focused on understanding concepts over memorization.

If you're preparing for CISSP, I highly recommend using quality practice questions that mirror real exam logic. You got this!

If you intend to go for CISSP certification or simply to get an overview of cybersecurity, you might want to check this out: buff.ly/4hFA0VN

The low-calorie, high fiber, high calcium, tech geeks don't have any time cookbook: Complete, free CISSP review seminar

buff.lyComplete, free CISSP review seminarOK, it's all done.  As of 20241016, all of the CISSP review seminar materials are recorded and posted.  It's kind of bizarre to think that i...

So for those in the InfoSec space, is there any value to studying for the #CISSP exam and attaining the Associate of ISC2 designation once I pass the exam? Through an odd set of circumstances, those that could best verify my work in infosec have largely retired and/or passed.

(and I am somewhat hesitant to ask for a vouch)

Thoughts?

#CISSP Renewal Real Talk: We're actually willing to give ISC2 $135 (marked as Past Due from Nov 2024), but are balking at wasting an hour trying to fill in the activity hours (we almost certainly did) required beyond the ones they didn't automatically get from SANS. Or maybe I didn't do enough those years? 🤷‍♀️ +10 Imposter Syndrome points for us, yay. 1/2

About the Book

Like his popular CISSP exam prep series on YouTube, "CISSP: The Last Mile" is designed as a consolidated reference that makes advanced exam topics accessible, bringing focus to important exam topics.

It’s little wonder so many people complain about not passing the ISC2 CC/CISSP exams with “The questions were nothing like I expected” when you have “Security Professionals” posting the most asinine “sample questions” in the ISC2 LinkedIn groups.

Dorothy dixers like:
* What port does DNS/HTTP/IMAP use?
* What Linux command is used to list a file
* What is an example of social engineering from a list of “SQL Injection, credential stuffing, Phishing and pretexting”

ISC2 exams will rarely, if ever, ask these types of questions.
