And yes, I am a #feminist, because #feminism also speaks to the #Liberation of men.

The #traditional man is a #serf, a worker to be stuffed into the mills of death, a soldier to be shoved on to the front line as meat for the grinder (see #Russia, see #Putin), a gladiator to be tossed into coliseum and be eaten by lions, a piece of meat on the side of your bread and circus.

Men are however histories greatest #romantics, #poets, #philosophers, #chefs and even #lovers.

"#Passover is a #Jewish #holiday steeped in tradition, but is set apart from other religious events in that the occasion and its observance is largely about #food. This is a holiday with pretty strict dietary guidelines, as well as classic #Seder preparation traditions, and for that reason, planning and #cooking for the holiday takes on a higher level of focus and preparation.

Home #chefs may start shopping, cooking, and planning their #menu weeks in advance—and the same can be said for celebrity chefs who happen to be Jewish.

But with so much #culinary traditions intertwined in this holiday's observance, it doesn't come as much of a surprise that many chefs have a specific family dish that has remained a star of the Seder for generations."
