In #CALIFORNIA, #CA03 Kevin Kiley, #CA22 David Valadao, #CA40 Young Kim & #CA41 Ken Calvert won by 11%, 6.8%, 10.6% & 3.4% respectively. Valadao is the only one who voted no. His graph makes it clear why. Across their districts, over a MILLION CALIFORNIANS are enrolled in #Medicaid/CHIP.

In #CA22 specifically, GOP Rep. David Valadao just voted to gut Medicaid for a stunning 61% of his constituents who are enrolled in Medicaid/CHIP. I was always a bit skeptical of that figure, & assumed CBPP's estimates would come in somewhat lower. Here's what I had it looking like until now:
