I was born in Lansing, Michigan in 1953. My family moved away from Michigan when I was only a few months old so I don't have any memories. Recently, I needed to obtain a 2nd certified copy of my birth certificate.

I would like to recognize the people at the Eaton County clerk's office and the Ingham County clerk's office for helping me. Each person I've spoken to by phone and email has been pleasant and helpful.

They won't see this post, but I want to thank them anyway.

We(the country & even the world)are going thru extraordinarily difficult times. We don't know from day to day which critical service or funding will be cut or reduced & with each new announcement, individual emotions run from relief to near terror

Every single emotion from every single person is valid & criticizing anyone because they don't respond the way another does is unfair. If someone has lost all faith in government or the courts, they have many reasons to feel that way. #BeKind #USPOL

After splitting my brain a million ways today, I just ran Hatching-tide on my Amh Garanjy mostly-event alt in #FFXIV.

I was initially thinking the yellow would clash with a Starlight colour scheme, but with the underside of the parasol being dark red, the gold adds class, not clash.

Heading off for rest and sleep now.

G'night all // #StaySafe // #BeKind

Right, I'm still in shedloads of pain. Things this week have been really difficult. Thank you for letting me be real about it here.

Rest day for me tomorrow - physical and mental.

There's still so much going round in my head, including questions over my writing. But right now I need sleep and no screens.

G'night all // #StaySafe // #BeKind

Right, I'm going to sign off until Monday. I did just have some #FFXIV as much-needed rest time.

To say this week "didn't go to plan" would be an understatement.

But I survived it.

And sometimes, that's got to be enough (whatever our feelings say).

G'night // #StaySafe // #BeKind

@RickiTarr Making #compliments. Telling people why I like what they do / how they do it. At least say 'thank you', #BeKind.

I started in young years when I worked in gastronomy.
Customers were very quick with complaints and nagging but rarely told you if they were satisfied.

It makes me happy when the other person's eyes light up or they start to smile. Sometimes a nice conversation arises because people are amazed that people can be #kind.

How can you show your support?

1. Educate Yourself: Read articles, watch documentaries, and listen to trans voices.

2. Use inclusive Language: Use the correct pronouns and names.

Support Trans-Led Organizations: Donate or volunteer your time to organizations that fight for trans rights.

3. Celebrate Trans People: Share their stories, amplify their voices, and show your appreciation.

Join me in making every day a day of visibility for the trans community.

2b fair and just, we must acknowledge that, indeed, there are people verily shocked by the information being revealed to them... those who truly have the innocence of ignorance.

...simply put to their defense, its like being pulled out of the matrix without knowing there was a #matrix in the first place...

so, when finding out all ya thought you knew, and indeed your entire existence, is a farce...existential crisis is a hyper natural response.

#bekind, cos really we A11 grew up plugged in
