Hey friends, one last pic — an actual crumb shot of my whole-wheat sourdough from yesterday! i’m BLOWN AWAY at how open the structure is, as promised. i wish my regular sourdough breads came out like this! #breadPost #sourdough #Baking
I made another batch of big cookies. These weigh 90 grams each. I found the only way to keep them fresh for a week is to wrap them tightly in plastic wrap, which I don't love... I'm wondering if I can use that beeswax food wrap instead.
I do reuse the plastic wrap when I can though. (Also, who am I kidding? These do not last a full week as the batch is usually less than 14 cookies.)

Needed a break as I have bread dough in second rising in the pans. Hard work kneading bread eh?
Sourdough hot cross buns take a bit of forward planning (usually where I come unstuck) but these were on schedule! Not that I celebrate Easter, but I do love an excuse for a bun .
Happy Good Friday to those who celebrate.
