So, some of you might remember I had to cancel my planned trips this month to visit my family in Adelaide, which was also tied in wth flights to visit a very dear Canberra friend for their 60th birthday. This year has been - well let’s just say eventful. Anyway, had I been going, it would have been almost time, and the flight insurance I’d booked was no longer applicable, so I tried to change it. But after wasting several hours, and having emails responded to very late, and obviously not read, I’ve decided bugger it, they can keep the money I spent on that. It’s not worth any more of my time, I don’t need the stress. I’d be angry if I wasn’t so tired. As it is? [ツ]4/ I then had to take a taxi home, stopping at the bank as I had no cash for the taxi. It was all very exhausting as I had respiratory problems again yesterday. I couldn't go shopping either, so I'm eating beans again and drinking tap water or tea. [ツ]3/ Since it is a public holiday today, I was afraid I would be stuck 20 km away from home and wouldn't even be able to get home. Then I remembered my car garage and called them. I was lucky and got help and was towed to the garage. The owner and master craftsman of the garage is a very special person, and we have become friends over the years. [ツ]1/ Yesterday was another day that would have been better off sleeping through. I had to drop off some important certified documents and when I wanted to drive away with the car after dropping them off, nothing worked. Since I've had problems with the battery several times, I've always had a power pack in the car, but even with that, everything remained motionless. It had the required customs label, he paid the counter clerk 5CHF for it as well as postage. He has just received it back with a rejection sticker, the book damaged, and the chocolate box opened.
