We have a clematis “mound”.
This is the most crazy plant in our yard. It used to climb the whole height of the corner of the house, about 50ft. And then it REALLY got out of hand. It kind of died back a couple years ago but it is back at full force!

This seems to be a good year for the #wisteria. This is a very old vine which had gotten completely out of control. Two years of careful pruning have now resulted in some attractive clusters. However, they seem to be about 2 weeks early, we usually enjoy them in mid-May. I hope it doesn't get too hot so they don't wilt as quickly. I love #spring #bloomscrolling #backyard

New WR in the Backyard ultra. 116… 
That is 4 days and 20 hours. 
This is the first time we are living in a house with a backyard. There were a lot of places we changed during our life as a family, but it was always apartments.
Living in a house is a mew exciting experience. Like coffee outside, grill whenever you want or all this little guys wandering around.

The older kids were reading out instructions for something (a toy? a game???) to the younger kids.
At some point, the little girl scoffed, "No one would do that!"
The little boy then chimed in with a slightly-offended tone, exclaiming, "I would!"
Absolutely fabulous. I adore the directness of kids. No idea what they were learning about but the exchange keeps making me smile ever since.

Earth Day Accomplishment
Here is our new Plum Tree. ("Early Italian Plum" variety)
I had actually forgot yesterday that it was Earth Day today. So while I was a little disappointed I didn't get this done yesterday, it turned into a nice memorable Earth Day addition.
Love planting trees. It's like planting hope every time. :)
It is mounded for now because that will be the height of the yard once I move more of PondPool Mountain around.
