There’s an interesting article on #AppleInsider about why Apple won’t be manufacturing iPhones in the US any time soon. Aside from the big difference in labour costs between the US and China, there’s this:

“Vocational training is not seen as taking the "lower path" in China, while many other countries have de-emphasized vocational trades. Because these trades are still considered worthwhile, China has a wealth of tooling engineers.”

AppleInsiderUS iPhone production's main challenge is a century of big business labor decisionsDespite repeated political promises recently saying otherwise, because of federal wants and big business needs over the last 100 years, the U.S. lacks both the low-cost labor and specialized manufacturing workforce needed to bring iPhone production home.

there's a review of the #RockPaperPencil at #AppleInsider, i use the #Paperlike film on my iPad Pro and my 11yo spends a lot of time sketching and illustrating so their iPad has a Paperlike too. i am curious about this alternative because they include a replacement tip for #ApplePencil and maybe that's great but I haven't really felt like the Paperlike has impeded us in any way whatsoever so

@stephenrobles Hi, I've just listened to this weeks #AppleInsider Podcast and it was mentioned that #Hazel can be used to clean up install files left behind after applications have been uninstalled via deletion in Finder.

I've searched through the forum and Hazel itself and I must be missing something as I can't see any reference to this at all....

So... is this possible, and if so what am I missing. Any assistance appreciated.
