And you can't sign up for account without giving a credit card. It offers free (personal) and priced (enterprise) accounts, but you must give a credit card even for the free account. That's when I bailed.

Can anyone say more about how or whether Qwen is fine-tuned for open science?

Today, scrapers from Alibaba Cloud generated 150GB of tarballs on my Forgejo and downloaded 200GB of data. I played whack-a-mole with their IPs when they ignored robots.txt. When I rate limited, they fanned out and came back stronger. Enough. The entire IP range is now being served gibberish from Iocaine.

If you have a legitimate use case from those IP ranges, please email me for consideration for an allow list.

The #rugpull by #Redis is just inexcuseable and not only did #Snapchat basically make a better #multithreaded #fork under #BSD 3-Clause named #KeyDB for quite some time , but several big constributors seem pissed...

So far, I saw quite significant contributions from #Tencent *, #AlibabaCloud * #aws and #RedHat and I'm convinced their #CLO's are pissed since their staff worked on those projects because with the leave of original creator of Redis it was stated that it will remain 3-Clause BSD...

And I do expect Redis to get their asses handed in court so hard they'll have to file for #bankrupcy like #SCO before the dust has settled...

I mean, look at that dumpsterfire and tell me with a straight face this is how #FLOSS should be done!

It is remarkable how little big tech companies know about open source licensing.

One can not change the license of code from others contributed to your project, except you let them sign a CLA.

And as it seems, #redis didn't. So they might face a lawsuit against #redhat, #AlibabaCloud and 700+ contributors.
